I am very dissatisfied... Took a schedule that was not really convenient for me thinking that this cruise would be adapted to children... No comments with anecdotes, simple words or riddles for the children! I do not recommend this activity in any way.... I felt cheated... Yuck!!!

Contrary to what is sold, it is not at all dedicated to children. Only foreign tourists on the boat, the guide's bilingual comments cannot be heard at the back of the boat and anyway it is a classic tour out of reach for children... Change your marketing pitch to avoid disappointment.

More than 30 minutes late on the reserved time Unpleasant staff who did not know how to inform us about the reasons of the delay nor even to tell us if we were going to be able to board or not! Staff who asked us not to ask questions because it was useless! Very disappointed with this reservation. First of all, we had booked a cruise on the stage with commentary for children which did not take place. Very bad organization: 1h20 of waiting in line for tickets reserved 3 weeks ago. And 45min late at departure. The comments on the boat were basic and uninteresting, with a frustration of the commentator! It's not worth the trouble to book with the Paris stars

Unfortunately, we could not benefit from the family cruise. It was cancelled that day. We were able to embark on a classic boat with 45 minutes of delay after 1h15 of waiting, since we had arrived 30 minutes in advance as specified on the ticket. The organization of the Paris star company was catastrophic, completely overwhelmed. The guided tour was pleasant. Our older children enjoyed it, it was more difficult for the younger ones for whom the commentary was not necessarily adapted. Disappointed with my purchase

Very disappointed because it did not correspond to the description of the services, i.e. "cruise for children" with storytelling animation etc... as the boat progressed. We were able to appreciate the quality of the classic cruise but without the "tales and stories" mode and the human-sized boat. Thank you for being more honest about this type of service in the future

Nice trip on the Seine, but I was disappointed for the following reason: It was announced that this cruise was mainly intended for young children and that the commentaries would be aimed at them. However, it was not really the case, especially since the comments in English preceded those in French which were not in adequacy with the described monument. Hence the weariness of our 8 year old daughter who quickly lost interest.

The fly boat was for us a must for our family stay in Paris with our three children. I thought I had booked a ride adapted to children, but in the end nothing is really adapted or planned for them. No line cutters or help from the staff to get on board with our stroller and our 4 month old daughter. The guide didn't speak loudly enough or the microphone didn't work properly: we couldn't hear the explanations. When I bought the tickets it was written walk for children with support and coloring on the monuments of Paris etc ... We did not find these elements. In short, for the price, we could have done without it.

I had chosen the May 3 cruise at 3:30 pm since it was a special cruise with a speaker for children. Not only was it an ordinary cruise in French and English. Moreover, we waited 1h30 for nothing. My little girls finished the trip reading their book. I fell into the tourist trap. I would have chosen the Batobus, I would have saved money!!!

Monday May 1 We were disappointed by this cruise in the sense that it was not at all adapted to children (compared to the enchanted cruise which was perfectly adapted). There were a lot of tourists and families with very young children busy with other things and therefore a lot of noise. Inside, the guide was almost inaudible. Half of the comments were in English which was not particularly interesting considering the purpose of the visit.

The tour was fun and kid-friendly but the change in language caused our youngest of 8 to stall. The main problem was that we had trouble presenting our tickets on our phone because the connection was bad. This stressed us out a bit before departure.

Superb cruise with a reasonable price, a clean and versatile boat (interior, exterior, floor). Super pleasant commentator with interesting comments for the little ones and also for the adults! I really recommend it!

We chose to pay more to have a child-friendly tour and talk. And it is very disappointing! The guide asks 2 or 3 questions to the children during the cruise but that's all, not enough to hook the little ones. The transition from English to French is not favourable to a good understanding of the children either. Wouldn't there be enough customers to make cruises only in French? I feel like it would have been better to have headphones and listen to the downloadable children's audio guide. My 5 year old daughter did not like it at all and found the cruise too long.

We are sorry to give a rather negative review. We had chosen this cruise for the presence of an experienced guide.... Big disappointment, a very approximate English, many errors and/or translations not well mastered. The English version is presented before the French version....so the monuments are already passed for the French version...in short, we have to review the commentary/cruise. It's a shame! Our children were expecting a lot from this moment!

Please note that you buy the tickets on the Familin'PAris website but you will find yourself on a cruise with the customers of the Paris stars, children, adults, tourists. So the speech of the guide was not more for children than that and in 2 languages French and English, too bad! My 8 years old daughter did not really like it...

A cruise like any other! It is not enough to say from time to time "Look, kids, ..." to captivate children. The commentaries were not at all adapted to the announced age group. And we regretted to hear first the comments in English and then only the French, sometimes less rich than English :-( We will not recommend this activity to other families.

It is interesting for children from 5/6 years old with comments and little riddles and the history within their reach! Catering in the Vedettes is possible but I didn't personally try it. It was great and my daughter enjoyed it a lot.

The boarding was a bit messy, the staff, who were pleasant, did not give us any information on the causes of the wait. Hello, We were very disappointed by this activity. We had chosen it to have the commented tour. In the end, we could not hear anything because of the noise of the boat's engine. It was a simple stroll on the Seine. Also, nothing special is finally planned for the children. Without the comments, they are bored. It's a pity.

Ticket control on the email received, 9 people, we have to open the 9 tickets one by one! Too long... then no specification on the tickets of the service "snack" therefore refusal of the controller. I had to justify the service on the return of the boat (which I fortunately found in my confirmation emails). Service showing amateurism!

Interesting cruise but extremely noisy, so the commentary was quite inaudible, too bad! Cruise reserved for 8 to 14 years old and we found ourselves with little ones from 5 to 10 years old, excited as we wanted, so shouts, heckling, chasing, etc. Rather tiring cruise. The family cruise is great in terms of visit and discovery time but what we didn't like is that the seats on the top of the barge are not reserved and that's a pity because despite the fact that we arrived on time, there was no seat left on the floor .... and downstairs the explanations of the tour were inaudible which is disappointing because it's important to have the comments at the same time as the tour.

Frankly, I can't thank you enough! First of all for the very attractive prices that were proposed while we had the idea of this outing a little at the last minute and that the official website of the Parisian stars did not propose any more seats at this time! But also to the great after sales service! I realized on the road that I had forgotten my phone and therefore the tickets at home. I called the paris stars who apparently could not do anything. I called the familin paris mobile numbers at the bottom of the site on a Sunday afternoon. Someone called me back and was able to send the tickets back to my husband's phone! YOU SAVED OUR SUNDAY! SO A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSIVENESS AND KINDNESS! Beyond all these adventures, this outing was great and the kids loved it! (8 years old, 4 years old and 2 years old) THANK YOU AGAIN

On the deck where the little children, 7 and 11 years old, were on the first chairs to see and hear the guide, 3 adults came and sat right in front of them, having taken chairs at the back of the deck. We found this unacceptable! Moreover, as explained above, groups of adults without children only talked and laughed very loudly without any respect for the guide whose explanations became inaudible! Very disappointed because nobody from the crew intervened. I am very disappointed as well as my son and grandchildren. We will not do this kind of cruise again.

Too many people in these stars. We couldn't even hear the guide's explanations. I thought that the explanations would be more fun to interest the children, but no. Nothing very interesting except the ride, but that is all the boat companies that can do it.

Good idea at the beginning but two disappointing points : -the top, we could not hear the comments of the guide, speakers are missing in each corner of the boat. -The family aspect of the cruise: I did not see the color of it. The anecdotes, when I heard them, were not necessarily adapted to a young public contrary to what was sold. I had to simplify some of the explanations to get my 7 and 9 year olds interested.

We took this cruise to introduce our son to Paris. It was indicated that this cruise was specifically made for children, with adapted explanations of Paris. We were very disappointed on this point since nothing was actually done for children. The explanations were not made for them, it was not fun nor explicit for them. But it was not really adapted to adults either, since the information given remained very basic and did not really bring any value to the cruise. In short, we had a pleasant trip but apart from that nothing very interesting

Nice cruise. The time allowed us to enjoy the day and the night. 4pm...at the departure it was daylight at the arrival the Eiffel Tower was illuminated ????. The guide was great. The commentary was simple, interesting... It is regrettable that some parents let their children run and shout without worrying about the embarrassment for the guide and the others... We had booked online without any problem and we did not have any wait. I recommend!

Interesting tour; lots of information (too much for children). The fact that the tour was bilingual made it more difficult for the children to concentrate. The ideal would be to have only one language so that there would be moments of silence that would allow to record the very numerous information. So very nice visit, moderately adapted to the public.

We had booked for 3:30 pm, it was full ? We had to take the next one at 4pm. In the description, it was noted guide specialist of the young public. He was not a guide specialized in young people! So obviously disappointed with the experience, we did not get what we paid for.

It was a pleasant cruise. The boat is small and very pretty. Even if it is crowded the view is clear to admire the buildings. The lecturer was very good. The reception and cruise staff were very pleasant. However I find that it is not a cruise intended for children. Indeed the content is easy to access but there is no specialized speech for children. It's a pity because this is what is put forward for this cruise. So the higher price does not justify the service.

Nice family activity, clear and playful explanations for the children. It's a pity that the staff on board is not more drastic about the rules. A woman placed herself at the front of the boat in a forbidden place, she embarrassed everyone. Someone from the staff came to see her twice but nothing made her move. It spoiled the ride a bit.

Unfortunately, neither the atmosphere, nor the comfort, nor the content was at the RDV. Yet we were happy with the children to go through Paris by barge ... The guide does not give desire, not more on the content (basic content) than on the form, no added value for the children (however we chose specifically this cruise for its side "intended for the children". The snack was exhausted (there were no more pancakes). The comfort is basic, not to say low-end (metal seat)... And finally the staff is not very nice. Fortunately Paris is beautiful and we were able to look outside to not focus on the rest. Sorry but I don't recommend it at all.

The explanations are not especially made for children: no support, no guiding theme, just questions they can't answer (example: who offered the obelisk of the place de la Concorde - if they know what an obelisk is it's already good). Moreover, the guide changes language (French, English, Italian) all the time so the children can't follow. We do not pass in front of the statue of liberty! One makes half turn to the bridge of before)

The cruise went well, but I found that it lacked nice anecdotes, there was some information, but it could have been brought in a more playful way without too much effort. After that, it was hot, so maybe the guide was starting to weaken! Besides, despite the heat, the boat had umbrellas to protect from the sun, so we were fine. On the bar side, the pancake house was not working anymore on board! But this problem was corrected when we left the boat on the docks! Saved!

What I liked : Sailing on the Seine and discovering differently the different monuments of PARIS and the quays of the Seine. What I didn't like : A lot of noise (chatter) during the explanations of the guide in spite of the microphones and non-existent participation towards the children. No problem for the reservation except that it was mentioned a paying parking lot, This one was a private parking lot ?????? Yes, but by warning them to settle near the guide.

The guide was tb for parents and children. Very good English as well as French. The comments were interesting with lots of nice anecdotes. The children retained the explanations well. The only concern is the snack pancakes. We had reserved it but the pancakes take too much time so we lose a part of the visit. It is nice to have fresh pancakes but not at the expense of the visit which lasts only one hour. If we could order them and then come and get them during the visit, it would be nice. Also, no one drinks because the bar is blocked by the pancakes because it's the same line. They should serve the drinks separately and come back for the pancakes. It's not the waitress's fault. Tb that there is a toilet on board. Overall very happy.

The guide seemed good but we had the loudspeakers in the ears so rather difficult to listen for the small one. No speaker in the bottom of the boat to listen elsewhere We had taken the formula snack: there were neither pancakes nor tea nor hot chocolate just a big industrial cookie or chips and coffee. Rather unsuitable for children ... And in the middle of the journey a damage of the boat obliged us to change boat thus without the guide for the children. We had to wait a long time that they try to make a repair, with the small children that was the hell. We returned very late I had promised an ice cream to the small one after the walk in boat: re crisis of tears after the episode of the pancake... no compensation.

The commented visit is interesting, even if it lacks a little lightness for children, there are a lot of explanations, in several languages, which means that there is in fact always one person speaking without interruption; after a while, it becomes tiresome for young children, the comments should be more playful. As far as the catering is concerned, I would advise against taking a snack or a drink in advance; once you're there, even before the departure, a line forms, and when it's your turn there are already no more cookies (the snack includes a drink and either a cookie or a pancake), so you can only take a pancake, and if you're not lucky (like us), the machine is not hot at the beginning, so you have to wait for the return, then when you come back, the person in charge of the bar realizes that in fact, the machine is not hot, so you will have to wait until you arrive to go and order a crepe in the bar in front of you on the platform... :-/ The cruise was from 5 to 6 pm, so for the snack, it was 6:30 pm.... enough to die of hunger for the children! Advice : bring your own snack, and don't buy in advance the snack on the boat, in case there would be nothing left ! :-( On this side, it is very badly organized, to have so few possibilities of snack, for a cruise planned for families, thus in great part with children! On the other hand, if you miss the boat, there is no problem to take the next boat with your reservation, which is rather good! In addition, the staff in general is nice, the atmosphere is good. To be done again... but without catering !

Interesting comments but if you are on the lower floor of the boat you can't hear. Tickets printed for 15:30 but in fact access to the boat only from 15:40. I regretted that the hostess was on the upper deck while we were on the lower level; this was not pointed out to us when we boarded and made my grandsons ( 11 years old, 10 years old and 9 years old) less attentive; moreover, they were not able to answer or ask questions; it's a shame. At this lower level, the noise of the other passengers sometimes prevented them from understanding what was being said.

The boat is separated in two by the captain's cabin and the bar in the middle which makes it impossible to follow the guide's comments when you are in the back under the tarp. The front is in full sun by 33° outside, which is not ideal with children. Moreover, the comments are in French and then in English, the children quickly lose interest. And the sound system being inaudible at the back with very strong crackling. Even for adults it was not pleasant to follow. IN 1 WORD I WILL NOT DO THIS CRUISE AGAIN. I had already made this cruise on the Seine with LES BATEAUX PARISIENS REALLY ADAPTED TO CHILDREN. DON'T TAKE THE WRONG CRUISE !!!!

I had offered this outing to my 6 year old son specifically because the walk was to be commented by a lecturer chosen to speak to children along the way. However, the lecturer that day (although very nice) did not speak good French at all ... from France (maybe she was Canadian??) since she had a very strong foreign accent ... so my little son did not understand anything of her speech, I had to explain everything to him and comment on the visit as it went along. I was expecting a pleasant and relaxing visit, it was not at all the case! Why not use French people from France to comment a visit of Paris for French children...??? PS. His English was perfect but my little son doesn't speak English yet...

We booked the family tour as we were travelling with our two young children and knew they would just be bored by a standard tour. From an adult's perspective the tour was wonderful, a really good way to see Paris when we only had a few hours to spare there. However I could not see how this had been adapted for children at all. The kids were bored. I was left thinking that the idea of a family tour is just to reduce the number of children on the other tours. The organizers should watch Horrible Histories to see how to make history entertaining and interesting for kids. They want to know about blood, guts and gore - there's plenty of that in Paris's history!

Seeing Paris from the Seine is always a pleasure, especially since the staff on the platform was very good. Two small drawbacks : - regarding the tickets, a small scare with two children when it is impossible to pass the paper tickets and very complicated with the dematerialized tickets. Thanks to the person in charge of the control for his patience; - regarding the services on board the boat, please bring bottles of still water, because on board, there was only sparkling water, not always appreciated by the children. The special children's side is quite successful.

I recommend it because after having tried all the companies (with friends who came to visit me) it is clearly the best experience by far, The size of the boat is very good and the furniture well maintained. Hats off to this guide who was very professional and adorable unlike the other companies who read their text in 4 languages barely mastered, she gave nice anecdotes and in both languages with a lot of enthusiasm, it was really a pleasant moment! The children and even us adults enjoyed it.

The cruise staff and the tour guide were warm and welcoming, the children were delighted on the boat, especially with the gourmet break (cookie+drink ... be careful that day, it was impossible to make pancakes on the boat because of the wind, they flew away! Thank you for this good moment.

We arrived at 3:10pm for a family tour at 3:30pm and were told to come back 15min later. When we came back there were over 50 people in front of us... all of whom took the seats upstairs. We found ourselves on benches down at the back of the boat without hearing anything because the speakers which transmitted what the guide said upstairs did not have a volume higher than that of the engines of the boat... moreover the toilets in front of us started to leak and all the bridge was soaked. We finally settled upstairs standing... next to people without children sitting who were doing the tour without knowing that it was a family tour because nothing indicated it... in short. Really disappointed, and we were not the only ones.

Our disappointment comes from the fact that we were expecting a cruise that would be more for children and that would not look like a classic cruise. It is true that we had the pleasure, before the pandemic, to participate in the "enchanted cruise" with Philou and Lila who animated wonderfully this cruise for children. But in the spirit of the proposed cruise, we have nothing to reproach; the welcome was perfect, the captain impeccable, the comments were good even if being bilingual, we lost the attention of the children and the adults too. Adaptations should be made for both English and French speakers (separate schedules). And since it is intended for families, make sure that the comments are more intended for children in a playful spirit.

To be avoided!!! It was supposed to be a family cruise, with commentaries adapted to children. I was looking forward to embark with my godson for his 9th birthday, I was expecting funny anecdotes about Paris and its history. It was only a succession of clichés for tourists about Paris, shopping, the Eiffel Tower, the Marais, etc. What a disappointment! We were frankly bored!

Very well organized activity, we feel that it turns at full speed. Friendly captain and a real tour guide who gives explanations and anecdotes - a very good point. On the other hand, the booked activity was a cruise specially adapted to children (only one schedule on the whole day) so I thought I would see/hear things adapted for them. This was not the case. Finally there was nothing out of the ordinary of a classic cruise. Too bad... And a big negative point: the toilets accessible on the quay are not free... A little too much when you have already paid for the cruise.

We were very well received by the fly boat company but the only problem was the lack of exchange with the guide for the children. The guide stayed at the back of the boat the whole time and only talked to a few kids. My 9 year old daughter would have liked to participate but quickly stopped because the person ignored us. Moreover the sound of the microphone was not strong enough, it was necessary to stretch the ear to hope to have some information.

Yes, I would recommend this activity. The guide was interesting. However, we did not have seats, especially for adults .... Some of the children could have sat on the parents' laps .... but the lack of manners of some is very sad. I was lucky enough to have a very deferential gentleman who still has good manners and education .... who gave up his seat to me... Perhaps you could see to it that everyone can "enjoy" the visit in a more comfortable way. Thank you.

Unfriendly snack; only child to take a snack; no animation during this snack. No announcement informing us that it was snack time. This does not correspond at all to a "family cruise". We were told that the cruise would be "fun and interactive for children from 6 to 11 years old; animated by a lecturer specializing in Paris, who is particularly interested in children: anecdotes, funny stories about the monuments, bridges, statues..." This was not the case at all. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone who wants to please one (or more) child(ren)

We were all delighted! The bilingual English-French guide was able to make comments that interested our 3 little sons between 6 and 11 years old. They came out delighted. Usually they are rather turbulent but there, so interested, they practically did not move. No criticism to be made even the nutella pancakes would have been available. The comments are very well calibrated for a young audience and are also interesting for adults.

We had chosen this activity because it was oriented for children and we were quite disappointed. The reception was very good and warm, the animator does his job correctly and asks some questions to the children but there is not much difference with a "classic" tour. I thought that the children would have had a support or a QR code to be scanned by the parents with games a little more access on the children but it was not. Not the case. The animator knows his text and has energy but not enough original or work to justify this price

the pontoon is badly indicated. we went right then left then right again ..... I had taken a family cruise and a booklet : available at 2 different pontoons. the lecturer didn't take care of the children more than that: she made her commentary in French and in English so it was not intended for 'french kids'. there were not too many anecdotes and questions for the kids to be interested in. I would still recommend this activity but fortunately we bought the booklet "incollable" which completed our knowledge on this visit.

Nice tour on the Seine but absolutely nothing special for the children and no snack despite the fact that we paid for this service.

We learned some very interesting information about Paris but it was not very suitable for our 3 year old daughter. It's a shame. The reservation went well. However, I think it's a pity that it's not possible to change the time slots.

Very good. The only downside is that we reserved a special slot for a cruise for young children and in the end our children did not have seats outside. Most of the seats were taken by adults without children or adults with older teenagers...

The cruise on the Seine was described as being intended for children with anecdotes addressed to children. This is not the case... The guide is in fact addressed to everyone and not particularly to children. Moreover, you really have to listen to the guide's presentations (as soon as you pass under a bridge or someone is talking next to you, you can't hear anything). Nevertheless, we had a good time and discovered the different monuments of Paris.

I highly recommend this experience to all parents or grandparents. We stayed in Paris in December, the cruise schedule was changed at the last moment which forced us to change the order of our activities in Paris but I don't regret it

Very disappointed because the explanations were not at all adapted to children contrary to what was indicated on the site. Moreover, because of a too high water level, the boat did not go further than the Pont des Arts and the price remained the same.
