Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral

chimera on top of Notre Dame
  • It is a masterpiece of medieval architecture, emblematic of the first Gothic period
  • Built in the 12th century, Notre-Dame de Paris is one of the most visited monuments in Paris. It is almost as emblematic as the Eiffel Tower
  • Notre-Dame is not the largest cathedral in France, but it remains very imposing with its 130 meters long, its 48 meters wide, its 69 meters high towers and 96 meters for the spire.
  • From the outside, it is just perfect!
  • You can admire its gothic façade, its sculpted portals, its gargoyles and all the statues that adorn its facade
  • The interior of the cathedral is just as majestic
  • 10 bays for the Nave and 5 for the choir, and a height under roof of 43 meters.
