Recipe for the sand rose

A new recipe from Victorine, food blogger of Vicky The Cook, (her Instagram account) a nice blog that will delight sweet tooths. These sand roses are sold at the Coffee Shop of the Villa Gypsy decoration shop in Trouville-sur-Mer.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 to 5 people):

  • 150g corn flakes
  • 200g chocolate (milk or dark chewable, a little less sweet)

THE RECIPE:

  • Heat 200g of chocolate in a bain-marie
  • Then add it to the 150g of plain cereals
  • Coat the corn flakes and chocolate and mix gently
  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on a tray, then place the small piles on it with 2 small spoons
  • Leave to cool for at least 1 hour
  • Sand roses can be kept for 4 days, at room temperature!

TRICKS:

1 – Preferably choose organic corn flakes
2 – You can prepare them with dark chocolate or milk chocolate
