Festive family weekend - Musée Picasso

  • The Musée Picasso-Paris is a member of the Mom'art association, which works to improve museum services for families.

The Picasso Museumis organizing two festive days for the youngest members of society, around the new presentation of its collections.

In the program flamenco initiation, dance workshop tour, fun tours, workshops and make-up...

Through the Museum's collections, children from 3 to 6 years old and of 7 to 12 years olddiscover the mysteries of Pablo Picasso's artistic creation.

The family weekend program

To take part in an activity, you must register with the ticket agent 30 minutes before the activity starts. Activities start in the lobby.

Morning from 10 a.m.

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. non-stop - open to the public Creative capsules" workshop - try out Picasso's various creative techniques: single-line drawing, torn paper, face/face profile (room -1.2)
  • 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. non-stop - open to the public Récup' atelier" - with artists from the LaBeL RéCup' collective, create with recycled materials, like Picasso (salle Blanche)
  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. non-stop - Ages 3 and up - Children will wear make-up inspired by the world of Picasso - (Room -1.3)
  • 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6 and up Workshop visit "Untangling the brushes" - after exploring Picasso's portraits in the collections: paint a face according to your inspiration (Levels 1 and 2 + workshop)
  • 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. ages 6 and up : Dance tour-workshop "Bougez! - Animated by a mediator and dancer, a fun and joyful exploration of the collections (Levels 1 and 2)
  • 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for 3-5 year-olds : visit specially designed for children: the processes and characters that populate the painter's world and his toolbox (Levels 1 and 2)
  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. - for families aged 6 and up - "To the rescue!" - a fun tour where visitors help the guide reconstruct the missing images and texts from the exhibition "Célébration Picasso, La collection prend des couleurs!" (Levels 1 and 2)
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - open to all - "Introduction to Flamenco dance with dancer and choreographer Rubén Molina, to discover an art form typical of Spanish culture - (Auditorium, N -1)

Afternoon from 2pm

  • 2 to 5 p.m. non-stop - open to the public Creative capsules" workshop - try out Picasso's various creative techniques: single-line drawing, torn paper, face/face profile (room -1.2)

  • 2 to 3 p.m. - for the general public Apprentice gallerists" tour Based on the exhibition "Dans l'appartement de Léonce Rosenberg", a fun tour that lets you slip into the shoes of an apprentice gallerist - (Level 0)
  • from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. - for the general public "Introduction to Flamenco dance with dancer and choreographer Rubén Molina, to discover an art form typical of Spanish culture (Auditorium, N -1)
