WE love : the Parisian brasserie still "in its own juice"
Specialties: steak with a unique sauce and homemade fries
Atmosphere: brewery for regulars with a lapped ceremonial
Location: at the Porte Maillot (Paris 17th)
The Relais de Venise: a unique menu, the same since 1957
- as a starter, a small green salad with walnuts with its vinaigrette raised with mustard.
- In main course, its famous steak cut into thin slices and served with a wonderful sauce. The composition of the sauce is a secret always well kept and it remains unmatched. Dit's golden fries in point, crisp and light. The main course is served twice.
- For dessert, the choice is quite extensive. The must of the Relais de Venise are the vacherin, the melba strawberry tulip and the profiteroles.
Unique formula at 28 € for the salad and entrecote with fries.
Cheese platter at 6 €.
The desserts are between € 6.50 and € 8.
The Relais de Venise: a bistro of regulars and tourists:
The Relais de Venise never fails. Go there, a sweet mix of regulars or connoisseur tourists. As the house does not take a reservation, there is always a queue in front of the restaurant door. To avoid waiting too long, we advise you to arrive about 15 minutes before the beginning of the service or at the end of the service.
The Relais de Venise is also 2 other addresses in Paris
The Relais de Venise is the historic restaurant, but the family has opened 2 other stores in Paris, under the name of "Relais de l'Entrecôte". It's always good, the formula is the same and we are just as much in line!
