The Eiffel Tower: a must!

  • Go up to the 2nd floor or at the top (accessible by elevator): reserve as soon as possible
  • Playful : in summer, a carousel and small games are installed on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower
  • Free : for children under 4 years old
  • Champ de Mars Games, carousel, horn and snack break
  • Trocadero After visiting the Eiffel Tower, go for a walk on the Trocadero esplanade (the view on the Champs-de-Mars is splendid)

  • Gluttony: crack for an ice cream at Bertillon, a mythical address in Paris

Day 2 : Ile Saint-Louis > Centre Pompidou > Marais > Luxembourg garden or Panoramic bus

  • There is a breathtaking view of the rooftops of Paris from the 5th floor. Do not miss it

Day 2 : Ile Saint-Louis > Centre Pompidou Swamp > Luxembourg garden or panoramic bus

The Marais district

  • ride : stroll in the Marais district
  • Stop games : place des Vosges, playground for children
  • Shopping : rue des Rosiers, rue Rambuteau and all around
  • greed : the Carette tea room , Place des Vosges
  • Museum: Picasso Museuma marvel! (but not really for the little ones)
  • Museum : the Museum of Hunting and Nature (children will love the stuffed animals and the curiosity cabinets)

Day 2 : Ile Saint-Louis > Centre Pompidou > Marais > Luxembourg garden or Panoramic bus

The Luxembourg garden, then a trip to Saint-Germain des Prés

  • Luxembourg Garden : kids will love ponies, ponds and huge playground
  • Parents will appreciate the playground reserved for children under 7 years old. Fenced playground.
  • The Luxembourg garden is open until 7pm in summer and until nightfall in winter
  • Dinner : in Saint-Germain des Prés, in one of the nicest area of Paris

Day 2 Ile Saint-Louis > Centre Pompidou > Marais > jardin du Luxembourg or Panoramic bus

  • The ideal is to go to the Louvre Museum in the morning, when everyone is in shape!
  • 1h max of visit to the Louvre (a bit short for adults but very good for kids)
  • Don't miss the Egyptology department, kids love it!

Day 3 : Louvre Museum > Garden of plants > Latin Quarter

Garden plants 

  • One can easily spend a whole afternoon at the Garden of plants. It is a place very nice with children
  • The Great Gallery of Evolution, one of our favorite places, a magical place
  • The menagerie of the Jardin des Plantes : a zoo on a human scale that will delight the little ones
  • The large tropical greenhouses (for the parents)
  • At tea time : change of scenery guaranteed, right next to the Jardin des Plantes, cafe of the Great Mosque of Paris to drink a mint tea and eat oriental pastries

Day 3 Musée du Louvre > Jardin des Plantes Latin Quarter

The Latin Quarter and the Pantheon 

  • ride : in the district of Saint-Michel, in the Latin Quarter
  • Browse : in the oldest streets of Paris,
  • Culture : If you have time, make a detour to the pantheon, a place steeped in history, a superb view of all Paris from the dome (depending on the season).
  • Having dinner in the Contrescarpe district

DAY 4: Montmartre, the Villette, Canal Saint-Martin

A morning in Montmartre

  • It is a very nice neighborhood and very lively
  • Tip: take the Montmartrobus where the funiculare to go up to the Sacred Heart
  • The view of Paris is to die for
  • Nice: to get a portrait Place du Tertre
  • There are a lot of small restaurants and terraces when the weather is nice
  • Sweet break : we recommend " Small mitrons "for its sweet pies to fall and Scaramouche for its artisanal ice creams with original fragrances
  • Fun idea with the little ones: take a little tour with the Petit train de Montmartre

Day 4 : Montmartre > la Villette > Canal Saint-Martin

The Parc de la Villette and the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie

  • It can be easily spent a whole afternoon. It's a very nice place with children
  • There is something to do in La Villette: science in all its forms within the reach of very young children. A fascinating universe adapted to the youngest ...
  • Children's City for 2-7 years at the Cité des sciences: games, activities and exciting discoveries specially designed for toddlers. Remember to make a reservation.
  • Exhibitions especially for the little ones at the Cité des Sciences. Until February 2023, the exhibition Fragile! is great with little ones.
