Our advice for visiting the Eiffel Tower

  • If you haven't booked your tickets, please arrive by 9am at the latest. to avoid queues (checkouts open at 9:30 a.m.)
  • If you visit Paris during school holidays, it is best to  book your tickets online.  Ideally, you should plan your visit in advance, within 2 months before your visit to Paris, because it will be full very quickly.
  • If you're with littletell the children the story of the Tower of Grace... to the game booklet "Follow Gus" - (to download on the site of the Tower)
  • Do not forget your illustrated plan of Paris, which will be very useful once at the top to show Paris to children (we find street vendors around the Eiffel Tower)
  • It is not absolutely necessary to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower.  Already, from the 2nd floor, the view is magnificent. To reach the top by the elevators, it's a little complicated. You have to change elevators on the 2nd floor and count one hour more visit because there is often a queue to take the elevators that lead to the top floor.
  • If you're with teenagersWe suggest you climb to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower on foot. It's sporty (674 steps all the same!), and there's less waiting time because brave people are rare. Here's an idea to let off steam for your teenagers. Count a good half hour!
  • The Eiffel Tower is open every night... until midnight from mid-June to early September and until 11 p.m. the rest of the year. This is one of the Parisian monuments that make nocturnal and that's a very good thing because the night view of Paris It is in our opinion an essential moment during a visit to Paris with family, friends or lovers!
