Our advice for visiting the Eiffel Tower

  • If you haven't booked your tickets, please arrive by 9am at the latest. to avoid queues (checkouts open at 9:30 a.m.)
  • If you visit Paris during the school vacations, it is better to book your tickets by internet. The best thing is to book in advance, in the 2 months before your visit to Paris, because it is very quickly sold out
  • If you're with littletell the children the story of the Tower of Grace... to the game booklet "Follow Gus" - (to download on the site of the Tower)
  • Do not forget your illustrated plan of Paris, which will be very useful once at the top to show Paris to children (we find street vendors around the Eiffel Tower)
  • It is not absolutely necessary to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower.  Already, from the 2nd floor, the view is magnificent. To reach the top by elevators, it is a little complicated. You have to change elevators on the 2nd floor and count an hour of visit more because there is often a queue to take the elevators that lead to the last floor.
  • If you're with teenagersWe suggest you climb to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower on foot. It's sporty (674 steps all the same!), and there's less waiting because the brave ones are rare. Here is an idea to let off steam with your teenagers. Count on a good half hour!
