TOTEM? traces the incredible journey of humanityfrom our original amphibian state to our ultimate quest to fly. This new show of the Cirque du Soleil also explores our links with the species that share the planet with us. Alternating primitive and modern myths, and interspersed with aboriginal creation stories, TOTEM echoes the evolutionary process of species, our incessant search for balance, and the curiosity that propels us ever further, faster, higher? A very, very big show with, in particular, the very impressive numbers monocyclists who throw bowls with their feet and catch them on their heads, the roller skating couple who performs acrobatic figures and other spins, on a mini drum-shaped surface, at a totally crazy speed? A 2 hour show.
