The Monet - Mitchell exhibition

  • This exhibition stages a dialogue between the works of the French painter Claude Monet, notably the water lilies, and the American artist Joan Mitchell
  • Jason Mitchell was born in Chicago a year before Monet's death. It is by settling in France, in a living environment close to that of Monet that his abstract painting gets closer to that of the great impressionist painter
  • The same sensitivity brings the two artists together
  • 60 emblematic works of the two artists are exposed and put in comparison with each other
  • This exhibition offers the visitor an enchanting, colorful and joyful journey, punctuated by incredible visual and thematic correspondences.
