"The Mysteries of Montmartre."

Courses designed for all audiences, adults and youth (from 10 years old)

  • This Escape Game has been designed for families with teenagers or children from 10 years old, for adultsfor students...
  • It's a fun night out. But you'll have to use your brains, your sense of observation and orientation and your logic.
  • You have a map, a tablet, a book for adults and a booklet for children. Children will keep their booklet after the Escape Game

ATTENTION : this Escape Game is only in French

Notice to the little cheaters: your laptop will not be of any use to you to solve the riddles (too easy). You won't find the answers to the riddles, they are much too subtle for Google ...

  • We go off the beaten track a little in this district by borrowing small less touristy lanes... We stroll on the side of the famous vines of Montmartre
  • It's a very entertaining outing, a little bit sportive (in Montmartre, it goes up and down) in outdoor, ideal for families when it's sunny
  • We keep young people away from their screens!

Another way to visit the Montmartre district. The teens were equally enthusiastic.

Star Star Star Star Star - Great experience

I booked this Escape Game in Montmartre for my son's 15th birthday. We were 3 adults and 3 teenagers and we all got into the game. It was both fun and a change of scenery, and we rediscovered the neighborhood while having fun. A big thank you to Rachel, who was great throughout the Escape game, and at the end gave us a packet of sweets for my son's birthday. Thank you Rachel!

Star Star Star Star Star - GREAT DISCOVERY
Written by Catherine, 15-04-2024

We really enjoyed our time in Montmartre. With teenagers, it's fun to wander around and they really get into it. A warm welcome at the start and end of the tour. A very good time, to be repeated on another site.

Super fun activity. Very fun tour. The kids (11 years old) and ourselves loved discovering this part of Montmartre! Rachel, best guide ever. Thanks to her for her responsiveness and above all for her personal initiative at the end of the game: the sweets!

Written by Savio, 03-04-2024

It's a lovely walk through the streets of Montmartre, passing through places that have their own history. We had to cancel twice because of a crippling illness, but the third time was the charm. We're delighted to have been able to do it with our friends and their children. The cancelled and rescheduled appointments were managed perfectly, thank you, it was very reassuring.

Star Star Star Star Star - Excellent scavenger hunt in Montmartre
Written by Daniel Barrier, 24-10-2023

Made with friends and children (10 and 13). Perfect for discovering the picturesque Montmartre district. The game is very well designed and the explanations are very clear and simple. The puzzles follow on perfectly from one another. I'd recommend it.

Star Star Star Star Star - Beautiful discoveries
Written by BOISSIERE , 18-08-2023

I wanted to visit certain areas of Montmartre. I was very pleased with the experience, as I discovered some places I knew absolutely nothing about. The price was a bit steep for the adventure, especially since there were only three of us. Our guide was great and very available. For the discovery of a neighborhood, I highly recommend it, but not for the escape game spirit. It's more of a treasure hunt.

Star Star Star Star Star - Nice moment - quite expensive - nothing more!
Written by LACOGNE René, 04-08-2023

"Discovering certain corners of Montmartre at breakneck speed, without having the time to appreciate the places to be discovered. The idea is a good one, but the organization needs to be reviewed. Comments and historical references would be welcome.

Star Star Star Star Star - Great time with the family, but it's more of a treasure hunt than a real tour.

Star Star Star Star Star - Laughter and a race against time
Written by Myriam F, 30-05-2023

With 2 teenagers and a pre-teen, we had a really fun time in Montmartre. I'd just like to point out that the riddles are perhaps not totally suited to the general culture of the average teenager. Perhaps the game should rely more on visual clues? Nevertheless, we all came away charmed, and our game master was very helpful. I recommend this affordable and entertaining activity.

Friendly hostess who gave clear instructions at the start of the games. Interesting riddles, within the grasp of our 5 teenagers (16 and 17 + 1 adult) who enjoyed solving them. Good energy, despite having to run up the hill (Montmartre obliges) to solve everything within 60 minutes. A must-do!

Star Star Star Star Star - Escape game les mysteres de Montmartre
Written by HOULBERT, 24-04-2023

We did the course with our 13 1/2 year old daughter. We had a great time (with the sun to boot). A great way to explore the Montmartre district. It's not really an escape game, but rather an invitation to take a closer look at a mythical place, supported at a distance by the guide's text messages and bonus photos. What's more, on the guide's instructions, we continued our discovery towards the Montmartre cemetery and the Villa Léandre. One reservation: the price was a little too high.

Star Star Star Star Star - Possible improvements
Written by Virginie, 29-03-2023

It's a great idea, but be careful when booking, as there are 2 courses with the same name, but one is an adult course and the other a children's park. Many of us made a mistake when booking and lost 30 minutes of play time while the person went to get the booklet for the children's course. In the end, the tablet was cumbersome and forced us to arrive at the end time to return the material, whereas a text exchange system would have worked just as well and allowed us to take the extra 30 minutes to play the game properly. Explanatory videos or voice prompts would be easier for young children to follow (versus the adult-rated blue laminated sheet). A booklet for each child would be a plus.

Star Star Star Star Star - Really nice
Written by Sophie , 18-03-2023

A lovely stroll through the heart of Montmartre, during which we learned a lot. A great experience, not an escape game in the strict sense of the word, but a great moment of sharing and conviviality, without the stress of the clock. Bravo

a fun way to discover this district of Paris. I did it with my 9-year-old daughter, and we loved our time in Montmartre. The riddles are very accessible, so even 7-year-olds can do it with their children. I haven't yet checked the website to see if you can discover another Paris neighborhood than Montmartre in the same way. But if they have other routes, I wouldn't hesitate to repeat the experience.

A playful discovery of the district and some amusing riddles. An original way to introduce teenagers to the history of Montmartre. The guide, Rachel, is very smiley and pleasant to talk to about the game. So, yes, it's not an escape game in the usual sense of the word, but the whole family enjoyed the walk.

Star Star Star Star Star - Nice for a 1st discovery but not really an escape game
Written by Maryline , on 12-01-2023

We did the Montmartre escape game with our children, and despite the adult course, it was very easy and therefore quite quick (less than an hour). If you're familiar with the area, you won't discover anything new, as the course only highlights places that are already well known and listed in all the guidebooks. So it's not really a way to "discover" the area. The questions are very simple, it's not an escape game with riddles to solve¦ We would have preferred it to be a little more complex, and to allow us to discover places/anecdotes less well known to everyone¦

Star Star Star Star Star - Discover Montmartre
Written by Nicolas, 09-01-2023

This walk allows you to visit certain places in Montmartre, but does not allow you to appreciate them. The time constraint forces you to rush through everything, due to the "Escape Game" effect... which isn't really an Escape Game, because apart from a tablet and a double-sided sheet of paper, there's no escape. What's more, it's extremely short (45 minutes) and very simple, if not too simple.

Star Star Star Star Star - Medium
Written by LB, 29-12-2022

There's no real thread or scenario, and the visual supports are very basic. It's more of a treasure hunt than an escape game. The interest of the tablet is very limited (just opening 5 files, each with a clue). Despite this, it's still a pleasant way to discover the neighborhood and get two teenagers who don't really like walking moving.

Star Star Star Star Star - A good way to visit Montmartre
Written by steff, 07-12-2022

Very nice Escape game, a pleasant way to discover Montmartre. I took off one star because the guide, Julien, gave us good guidance, but wasn't really smiling or relaxed: a shame for a game that should bring a smile.

Star Star Star Star Star - the mysteries of montmartre
Written by Catherine Lefebvre, 01-11-2022

Quite disappointed by the organization. The plot is interesting but difficult to complete in 1 hour for neophytes. In principle, the game was supposed to take 1h30. The game master gave us an hour and we had to go fast because he had another escape game afterwards. It was a bit of a factory. What a shame!

Star Star Star Star Star - What a pleasure to discover Montmartre
Written by Gauthier sylvie , on 29-10-2022

I had planned this escape game, which was more a series of riddles to be solved in order to reach the final bridge, for my 10-year-old grandson, who didn't get hooked at all! Too young, I think, and apart from the tablet to write down the answers, he had absolutely no interest in the course. Not recommended for young children.

We took part in the escale game in Montmartre as a family with children aged 9 to 11, and had an excellent morning: very well organized game, interesting riddles and a magnificent tour of Montmartre. An experience with family and friends that I'd recommend!

And also…

The Escape Game "Street Art at Quail Hill." (from 10 years old)
The Escape Game "The secrets of the Marais (from 10 years old)
The Escape Game "The mysteries of the Latin Quarter" (from 14 years old)

The Enigma Walk "Treasure hunt in the Bois de Vincennes and the 12th district
The Enigma Walk "Unusual walk in the Butte aux cailles, a village in Paris".
