I was shocked by the completely sexist lyrics and staging of this musical. They talk about the "greats" and "adventurers" Peter Pan and Captains Hook, and make fun of Wendy "who only likes to tidy up our things and cook us food", and insist that the mother of the children "shouldn't have left home to go to the theatre, her place is with her children". Far be it from me to want to change Peter Pan's story, but you can still be careful about the wording of certain lines and the staging when you reach whole theatres full of children. In 2019, it is no longer possible to convey such a sexist vision.

We did not have the opportunity to see Peter Pan and we find your comment very interesting. I hope that other spectators will be able to give us their opinion on whether or not this musical is sexist. It is true that today it is no longer possible to convey the idea that a mother should only take care of her children. To be continued and thank you for your comment.
