The visit of the Malmaison castle and the garden
Today Malmaison is a museum-castle. It was once the private residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife Empress Josephine.
Josephine acquired it in 1799. She turned it into an elegant and refined residence, the private residence of the couple. Malmaison became over the years a place where many political decisions were taken. Joséphine moved there permanently after her divorce and died there in 1814.

- The visit of the castle of Malmaison will allow you to discover several decorated rooms of marble, gilding, and mosaics.

- The gardens of Malmaison Empress Josephine loved roses, especially fragrant ones (her name was rose) and the rose garden has more than 150 varieties of roses
- The black swans are back at Malmaison since 2017, just like in the time of Josephine
