On August 27 we celebrate Ganesh in Paris!
- Ganesh, the elephant-headed child god will be honored in the streets of Paris in a a colorful parade of flowers and music
- Come and watch the procession in the colors of India and Hindu traditions.
- Ganesh, India's most venerated god, embodies wisdom and protects schools and knowledge.
- This procession is open to all!
- A unique opportunity to share Indian traditions
- Let yourself be carried away by the crowd of worshippers who follow the floral float carrying Ganesh amidst dancers dressed in traditional costumes and adorned with peacock feathers.
- To the sound of music and mantras, you will attend various rituals such as fruit offerings and numerous wreaths of flowers, garlands and necklaces of heady-scented jasmine. Coconuts are offered to Ganesh because, once broken, they liberate the ego and bring prosperity.

- The parade will start at 11 a.m. from the Temple of Ganesh at 17 rue Pajol in the 18th arrondissement of Parise borough
