"Matisse, l'Atelier Rouge

- This fascinating LVMH Foundation exhibition has been mounted around Matisse's masterpiece "L'Atelier Rouge", which was painted in 1911. It has been conserved at MoMA in New York since 1949.
- As the red of the canvas resonates, what exactly makes this painting so special?
- Quite simply, Matisse depicted the interior of his studio in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
- For the first time, all the works featured in this painting are on show: six paintings, three sculptures and one ceramic reproduced in the painting, produced between 1898 and 1911.
- Using archive documents and a film on the most recent discoveries, we take a fascinating look at the history of this painting.

- A surface area of 1,500m2 on two levels allows Elsworth Kelly's paintings to truly resonate.
- An encounter with this monochrome painter of modernity reveals, despite his celebrity, aspects of abstract art little known to the general public in Europe.
