  • Thanks to photography, poster art and newspapers, the spirit of sport gradually spread throughout society: cycling, rugby, gymnastics...
  • Fascinated by the subject of sports aesthetics, the artists worked on dynamics, lighting and the expression of effort and speed.

  • As part of this exhibition, the museum offers children several creativity workshops and visits adapted to different ages

Workshops last about 1h30

  • Wednesdays June 5 and 12 and July 3, 17, 24 and 31
    • "Show the sport ages 4 to 6 at 10:30 am - and ages 7 to 10 at 3 pm -: after discovering the world of posters and sports images, children will create their own poster featuring their favorite sport.
  • Wednesday, July 10
    • "Artists in the window for ages 4 to 6 at 10:30 a.m.: Using pencil and watercolor, children reproduce their environment in their own way.
    • "On the move Ages 7 to 10 at 3pm: After a tour of the exhibition, create a sporty puppet in motion!
  • Wednesdays June 5, 12, and 26, and July 17
    • "Bassin aux Nymphéas - ages 4 to 6 at 10:30 am and ages 7 to 10 at 3 pm: Les P'tits Marmottan are invited to plunge into Monet's water garden. Brushes in hand, watercolors on the palette and paper on a small easel, children will create their own bright and colorful pond.
  • Wednesdays June 19 and 26 and July 24 and 31
    • "Painting in the open air - Ages 4 to 6 at 10:30 am and ages 7 to 10 at 3 pm: Like true Impressionists, P'tits Marmottan will paint on the motif in the museum's hidden garden.
