Little Apple is a very small boy "three apples high with red cheeks, a little red bonnet... A very obedient little boybut bored alone at home... 

It's Christmas Eve. Little Apple's parents have left for the big city. Little Apple decides to go and meet them, but he gets lost in the mountains. Night falls.

All the inhabitants of the forest prepare a wonderful surprise for him. A gentle tale that explores the unknown, the loss of bearings and the comfort of friends.
