La Cueillette de Lumigny (77)
It is educational picking 25 hectares of land with no less than 50 varieties of fruit, flowers and vegetables grown!
From April to November, families flock to pick fruit, vegetables and flowers, and have a great time doing so, with no quantity restrictions. Following the natural cycle, crops are grown using sustainable agriculture methods.
The season begins with spring vegetables, and strawberries arrive at the end of May. Summer is the festival of ratatouille vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, onions, zucchinis, etc.) and in September, the 4-hectare orchard opens its doors for apple picking. Autumn vegetables follow, with pumpkins and other cucurbits, leeks, carrots and potatoes.
Cueillette de Lumigny (77), part of the "Chapeau de paille" network, organizes educational events and workshops for children throughout the year..
