Calder, dreaming in balance at the Fondation Louis Vuitton

A magical exhibition to experience with the family in Paris

With nearly 300 works on more than 3,000 m², it is one of the largest exhibitions ever devoted to the artist

Here, there is no “wise” exhibition where you whisper… You will discover a universe full of movement, colour and surprise imagined by the sculptor Alexandre Calder

Everyday objects become works of art, sculptures move, rotate with the air and play with light

This exhibition to experience with the family is a rare opportunity to discover 50 years of creation and the universe of this ingenious artist, his famous mobiles but also stabiles, mechanisms, and other wire sculptures where humor and poetry still reign

Photographs, drawings, and wooden sculptures enrich the visit and the famous “Cirque Calder” is a real surprise for the youngest! 🎠
