It’s free, and it’s nice to enjoy the summer
When the temperatures rise, Paris is transformed into a real urban oasis. Every summer, the capital offers many free swimming areas to cool off, relax, sunbathe… and swimming in the open air! These places are always an opportunity to have a great time with children and teenagers. Nearby you will always find something to eat, sip a good fruit juice…
Safely furnished:
- The water is controlled and the bathing areas will be closed in the event of proven or suspected pollution
- Comme à la mer des indicateurs – vert, jaune, rouge – diront chaque jour si l’eau est propre à la baignade (pollution et intensité du courant)
- swimming or splashing areas are delimited and supervised (first aid station)
- and toilets are always nearby
- Decent swimwear is mandatory
- Children must be accompanied by an adult

Héritage des JO et après 100 ans d’interdiction, et pour la première fois, trois lieux de baignades surveillés dans la Seine ont vu le jour pour plus de plaisir en plein Paris ! Points de vue exceptionnels garantis et sécurité garantis !

- La Baignade de Bercy – quai de Bercy – (12th)
- La Baignade Grenelle (15e) – aménagée pour les familles – Idéale avec des enfants
Important : un test sera obligatoire pour évaluer chaque futur baigneur afin de déterminer s’il « est suffisamment à l’aise dans l’eau pour pouvoir nager sans aucune aide matérielle » de type bouée. Les baigneurs autorisés à nager seront identifiés à l’aide d’un bracelet pour éviter de repasser les tests.

- On either side of the Simone de Beauvoir footbridge, facing the BnF below the Parc de Bercy
- 2 espaces de baignades sasn fond (3,50m) d’où l’on peut regarder les bateaux de fret et de tourisme

- Located at the level of the Bichat footbridge, Récollets basin between 116 and 126 quai de Jemmapes
- The locks will be closed to boat traffic

- Compulsory showers after swimming at the Jemmapes sports centre where you will find changing rooms (mixed)

- Sports and entertainment area: inflatable structure (+6 years old), trampolines, water aerobics, fitness, sports tournaments: homeball, football, volleyball, mini-tennis, archery, etc.

- The Bassin de la Villette is located on the Quai de Loire (Jaurès, Stalingrad or Laumière metro stations)
