If you are a family with a passion or addicted to board gamesif you have grown children (pre-teens or teens), if you are students, these addresses of restaurants and bars in Paris are made for you! These aren't toy libraries. but bistros or restaurants offering their customers board games. Some of them are free (you are only asked to eat or drink), others offer an hourly rate to have access to the whole toy library.

Le Nid-Cocon Ludique (in the 3rd)

  • 227, Rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris
  • The Nid-Cocon is a playful bar with a lot of space (more than 500 games), a Sunday brunch and a shop (so you can test yourself on the spot before buying the game).
  • You can come as a family, even with young children...
  • Monday from 5:30 pm to 1 am, Tuesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 1 am, Sunday from 12 am to midnight.
  • RATE: 3€ per person and for 2 hours of games, and another drink will be requested after 2 hours.

Le Loufoque (in the 5th)

  • Le Loufoque is a friendly and playful bar that offers more than 550 games.
  • Facilitators are present on site to assist you and help you
  • You can have a drink (soft or not) and a snack (everything is homemade).
  • You can come as a family, even with young children...
  • Tuesday to Thursday from 5pm to midnight, Friday from 5pm to 1.30am, Saturday from 12pm to 1.30am, Sunday from 12pm to 11.30pm (closed on Mondays).
  • RATE: 5€ per person, for unlimited time

MEiSiA (in the 10th)

  • You can have lunch and dinner (everything is homemade): vegetarian and vegan menu.
  • Any consumption (food or drink) will free up playing time (1 hour).
  • Monday to Friday from 17h to 00h, Saturday from 12h to midnight and Sunday from 12h to 22h.
  • RATE: 4€ per person and for 1 hour to play

Revenge (in the 12th)

  • Games, games and more games... (more than 1000 references) in this playful bistro.
  • In the plate if you want to nibble a piece: planks and hot dog
  • Monday to Friday 6pm to 1am, Saturday 2pm to midnight (closed on Sundays) 
  • RATE: 4€ per person + one drink to order (to be renewed every 2 hours)

Aux Dés Calés (in the 17th)

  • 17 rue Legendre, 75017 Paris
  • On the kitchen side, a very nice menu with typical dishes
  • The owner Ludovic, alias Ludo (not even on purpose), passionate about board games, and his team welcome you warmly and friendly.
  • Saturday is Burger (and games if you feel like it)
  • Every 1st Sunday of every monthafter brunch, from 3pm, a game animator helps you, advises you and presents you with new games
  • Monday to Friday from 8am to 2am, Saturday from 10am to 2am and Sunday from 10am to 11.30pm.
  • RATES: the games are available free of charge to customers who come for lunch, dinner or a drink during the day.
