Let’s go to the music!
For a day, the Museum of Jewish Art and History vibrates to the rhythm of music and songs from Jewish traditions.
With your family, discover stories, melodies and traditions from elsewhere.
Between discovery, creation and sharing, young and old alike are invited to listen, sing, experiment and let themselves be carried away by a day placed under the sign of music.
This festive event open to all is free (access to the collection and the exhibition), except for the auditorium show.
Show: “Mister Gershwin, the skyscrapers of music”
This show will take place in the museum’s Auditorium, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is intended for children from 7 years old.
It is adapted from the novel by Susie Morgenstern, a great author of children’s literature.
The story : New York, at the beginning of thetwentieth century, Mrs. Gershwin buys a piano for her eldest son, Ira. But it is George, the youngest, who will invest the instrument and will never leave it. We then discover how George Gershwin will become a great artist… It is a dive into Gershwin’s most beautiful works.
