An enchantment in Vaux-le-Vicomte

During candlelight evenings, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and the 33 hectares of gardens designed by Le Nôtre are lit by candles

These evenings take place every Saturday evening, from mid-May to the end of September

The show is magical with more than 2000 candles that sparkle throughout the estate (park and castle)

These nightly visits by candlelight are a real delight. The Vaux le Vicomte estate is sublimated for an evening…

By candlelight, the garden of Vaux-le-Vicomte becomes mysterious. The works of art, paintings and statues are offered to the visitor in a very special atmosphere

The evening ends with a magnificent fireworks display of gold and silver at 11 p.m.

Candlelight evenings have existed since 1980 and are a great success every year

Two special evenings

Two evenings will punctuate the summer, each animated by the atmosphere of a festive guinguette :

  • on July 13, with a blue, white or red dress code to celebrate the National Day
  • on 15 August, an evening in white, placed under the sign of refinement
