The Lantern Parade at La Villette, a poetic and musical stroll
A few days before the winter solstice, lanterns in hand, night owls illuminate the Parc de la Villette for a poetic and musical walk, orchestrated by the artists of the collective Les Poussières. Everyone is invited to join the luminous procession once night falls to discover the park by candlelight.
You can make your own lantern by participating in the Make Your Lantern workshop the weekend before (reservation required). Workshop participants pick up their lantern on the day of the parade in Little Villette.
- 1-hour stroll from 5pm. Start in front of Little Villette
- 8th edition of the Lantern Parade at La Villette.
- To celebrate the winter solstice, lanterns in hand, in the Parc de la Villette, everyone is invited to join the luminous procession with the artists of the collective Les poussières
- As the release of flying lanterns is forbidden, we revisit this great tradition to celebrate the winter solstice
- The ideal is to come with your lanterns made by you and/or your children. By the way, a workshop “Make your lantern” takes place the previous weekend in Little Villette on November 30 and December 1
