The Lantern Parade at La Villette, a poetic and musical stroll

  • 1-hour stroll from 5pm. Start in front of Little Villette
  • 8th edition of the Lantern Parade at La Villette.
  • To celebrate the winter solstice, lanterns in hand, in the Parc de la Villette, everyone is invited to join the luminous procession with the artists of the collective Les poussières
  • As the release of flying lanterns is forbidden, we revisit this great tradition to celebrate the winter solstice
  • The ideal is to come with your lanterns made by you and/or your children. By the way, a workshop “Make your lantern” takes place the previous weekend in Little Villette on November 30 and December 1
  • Please note that there is no distribution or sale of lanterns on site

Atelier Villette to make your lantern:

“Make your lantern” – Plastic art workshops 6-10 years old – In Little Villette – (Duration 3 hours) – online booking on the “Children’s Workshops” ticket office

Build a beautiful lantern with willow strands and tissue paper, and come parade at dusk during the Lantern Parade on Saturday, December 7

  • Saturday 30 November at 3 pm
  • Sunday, December 1 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
