The Latin Quarter is a district located on the left bank of Paris. It stretches along the Seine between the 6th arrondissement (Saint-Germain des prés, Luxembourg Gardens) and the 13th arrondissement (Butte-aux-Cailles, François Mitterand library, Place d’Italie). The Latin Quarter is located on the site of the Gallo-Roman city of Lutetia. It is above all a university district with, among others, the Sorbonne, the Pantheon and Assas university centers. As well as prestigious high schools such as Louis Le Grand, Fénelon, Stanislas and Saint-Louis. The main monument to visit in the 5th arrondissement is the Pantheon. As a family, it is to the Jardin des Plantes that we will take the children (the Grande Galerie de l’Evolution, the Menagerie, the Paleontology Gallery).
