The Children’s Philharmonic … Music at a child’s level
The Children’s Philharmonic is a space for children, dedicated to music. Accompanied by their parents, grandparents or teachers, children will have fun, listen, understand, feel, discover and make music. A colorful and peppy place to develop the imagination and learn to smell sounds.

- WHAT : A 1000m2 course with 30 manipulable facilities to play with music
- DURATION: approximately 1h15
- OPENING HOURS : Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm — Thursday: 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-5.30pm
- PRICE: €15 Adult or child from 2 years old
Among the 5 universes dotted with 30 installations proposed, we tested:
- A huge world map to discover and hear music from all over the world. It is the cultural and musical heritage of the 5 continents that is available to all. You put on headphones, choose the continent, press a button to listen to and discover other people’s music…
- a recording studio, with real instruments to create your track
- We also play at reproducing the gestures of an orchestra conductor in front of imaginary musicians in a concert hall
- we jump on a ball… and the musical notes appear as if by magic
- saucepan, whisk, brush… It’s the “cookware” workshop to emit funny sounds (in a yellow room)
- Children’s nursery rhymes revisited with “salsa”, “hard-rock” or “opera” sauce… We put on a funny headset in the red room and listen to “Frères Jacques” or “Ah, I’ll tell you mom”

Avec le parcours sonore « Bêtes à musique » la Philharmonie des enfants invite les familles à écouter la nature autrement.
C’est un parcours sonore spécial autour des animaux et composé de bruits d’insectes et d’animaux. Ce parcours est conçu à partir d’enregistrements de Pierre Henry. Par ailleurs, dans l’espace immersif “Plein les oreilles” les enfants entreront dans l’univers du “Carnaval des animaux” de Camille Saint-Saëns en visionnant des extraits de l’oeuvre
