A photographic exhibition that immerses you in the world of sport in times of war!
Sport played an undeniable role in the soldier’s preparation, but it was also a means of discovery, escape and cohesion in these difficult times. This series of photographs illustrates the physical exercises of the combatant world, from the Great War to the present day.
Through this exhibition, you will learn more about the evolution and impact of sport during the Great War and more broadly within the army, and about society in general.
