A unique immersion in seventeenth-century Versailles

Every Saturday evening, just after the Musical Fountains Shows or before the sumptuous Night Fountains Shows, the Royal Serenade of the Hall of Mirrors is an immersive show in the footsteps of the Sun King’s courtiers

From the Royal Chapel to the Hall of Mirrors, via the King’s and Queen’s State Apartments , the tour-show is punctuated by baroque music, dance, theatre and … fencing duels!

Where do I access the tour-show “The Royal Serenade of the Hall of Mirrors”?

Access to the Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors is through Entrance A, through the Dufour Pavilion

Can we sit down for the duration of the show?

No, it is not possible because it is an ambulatory route. There are no seats specifically provided to watch the show

Can I leave the castle with my tickets and come back afterwards?

No, any exit is final

Can I exchange or get a refund for my ticket?

Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. But you can take out a “48-hour reimbursement insurance” insurance

With children of what age can you attend the show?

The show is accessible to children of all ages. However, they must be accompanied by an adult

How to get to the Palace of Versailles by car?

You have the possibility to park your vehicle in the Place d’Armes car park, in front of the castle (subject to availability). This car park is paid during the day and is often saturated. However, parking is available on show nights, but only starting at 7 p.m. As a result, parking hours before 7 p.m. remain chargeable.

How to get to the Palace of Versailles by train?

Coming from Paris, take line N at Gare Montparnasse (Versailles Chantiers stop). From the Saint-Lazare train station, line L, get off at the Versailles – Rive Droite stop. For these two trips, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the castle

How to get to the Palace of Versailles by RER?

Take line C to Versailles Château – Rive Gauche. You can walk to the castle in 10min
