WE love : the extraordinary view from the panoramic terrace
Free: for under 18s (under 25s if a European Union citizen)
Nocturne: until 22h30 or 23h depending on the season
The Arc de Triomphe was almost an elephant. It was the first Napoleon project, finally abandoned!
The panoramic view from the Arc de Triomphe
From the panoramic terrace of the Arc de Triomphe, you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées, Concord, Montmartre, the Defense ... in short all Paris.
The view is beautiful and allows a bird's eye view of the dozen Parisian avenues nearby and a very nice perspective on the Champs-Elysees, to the Concorde.
Nocturnes until 23h from April to September and the rest of the year the Arc de Triomphe is open until 22:30 for a Paris by night! We really recommend the night view. That's wonderful.
There is often a lot of people especially during the holidays. The E-tickets Skip-the-line avoid the long queue.
The tomb of the unknown soldier
At the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier pays tribute to the 1.3 million French soldiers who died during the First World War.
It is in 1921 that the unknown soldier is buried there! The flame of remembrance is revived every day at 18:30.
The Arc de Triomphe is approximately 50 m high, 45 m long and 22 m wide.

Avenue des Champs-Elysees
It is one of the most beautiful avenues in the world! We stroll on the Champs-Elysées for pleasure or for a shopping session: luxury boutiques (Vuitton, Lancel, Chanel ...), major international brands (Zara, H & M, Abercrombie ...), Sephora the most of Europe or Disney Store, Addidas Store ...
Gourmet break at Ladurée for lunch, brunch or to buy one of their famous macaron!
