It is made up of 3 very different gardens, built according to the fashions of each era: the French garden designed by Andr\u00e9 Le N\u00f4tre in the seventeenth century, the Anglo-Chinese garden at the end of the eighteenth century and the English garden<em> in the nineteenth century.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a <strong>French garden designed by Le N\u00f4tre<\/strong> : it includes vast mirrors of water reflecting the sky, numerous water jets and fountains as well as an exceptional set of statues. Of all the gardens created by Andr\u00e9 Le N\u00f4tre, Chantilly was his favourite <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an<strong> Anglo-Chinese garden <\/strong>: it houses the Hamlet composed of five rustic-looking houses, and served as a model for Marie-Antoinette at the Petit Trianon of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.familinparis.fr\/en\/the-palace-of-versailles-and-its-gardens\/\">Palace of Versailles<\/a>.
