On the occasion of the Purim festival, the MAHJ (Museum of Art and History of Judaism) proposes, like each year, its Purim Ball. It is a festive event open to all and free of charge.. The children will be able to dress up and get makeup on the spot.
Celebrated every spring, the feast of Purim commemorates the rescue of the Jewish people by Queen Esther. Associated with joy, laughter, turnarounds and miracles, the festival is accompanied by rituals carnivals, fancy dress, theatrical performances and burlesque parades.
The Purim Ball is accompanied this year by the Kif Orkestra and the Klezmorimlekh, which marry tradition and modernity and offer a musical journey around the biblical story of the book of Esther.
From 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, a make-up area will allow the most inspired to metamorphose into a pencil stroke.
Take advantage of your visit to the MAHJ to see the very interesting exhibition on Adolfo Kaminsky. The exhibition traces the life of ce genius forger who saved hundreds of lives. It's free too!
